Point of sale · back office · chain hub

For stores, pharmacies, restaurants and chains. It runs on a PC in your back room or in your own cloud, keeps selling when the network drops, and takes card payments through your processor at your rate.

  • Every module free for 60 days
  • No card needed to start

0 %of your card payments goes to us

5card processors' terminals: Stripe, Adyen, Clover, Worldpay, Fiserv

3restaurant tables free, with no module bought

What it does

Built for the counter, not for a demo

Keeps selling when the network drops

The register sells from its own copy of the catalog and queues each receipt with a key that makes sending it twice harmless. When the server answers again, the queue goes on its own.

Card fees at your processor's rate

Square and Toast keep their software cheap and earn on every payment. iRetail PRO drives the terminal of the processor you sign with and never takes a share.

One hub for every store

Prices and the catalog are set once at the hub and reach each store; sales and stock come back. A store keeps working while the link is down.

Weighed goods from a live scale

The register reads the scale and adds a line only on a steady reading above zero. Nobody types a weight.

Tables, seats and courses

A floor plan, checks by table and seat, courses fired to the kitchen and split bills. Free up to three tables.

An assistant that asks first

It runs on your own model key. Whatever it proposes to change, a person with the right role approves.

Who it is for

Built around how you sell

The register: a sale with weighed goods and the payment rail

A store

Registers that keep selling through a network outage and catch up afterwards, weighed goods from a live scale, cards on your own terminal, stock that changes only through documents. Starter is free for one store with one register.

The chain console: a sales overview across three stores

A chain

One hub for every store: the catalog and prices owned centrally, sales and stock on dashboards, transfers between stores, releases rolled out in waves, and a private network between your servers.

The register asking for the pseudoephedrine logbook entry

A pharmacy

The front-end register beside your pharmacy system: the pseudoephedrine logbook with its limits checked, FSA and HSA cards through IIAS, age checks from the ID's barcode.

A waiter's floor plan with tables and their checks

And a restaurant

A floor plan, checks by table and seat, courses fired to the kitchen, split bills, and a guest menu behind a QR code on each table. Free up to three tables; waiters' handhelds and kitchen screens never count as registers.

How to start

From a key to a sale in three steps

  1. Get a key

Register with your e-mail. You get a Starter key for one store and one register, free, and can try every module for 60 days.

  2. Install the store server

The release's signed deployment kit installs the store node with PostgreSQL and Redis in Docker Compose, on a back-room PC or in your cloud.

  3. Pair the register

Install the register and the back office on Windows, macOS or Linux and pair them with the node from their first screen.

What stays yours

  • Your data in your own PostgreSQL. A store works without the hub, a register without the node until the end of the shift.
  • An offline license key, checked on your servers with no call to us. Air-gapped stores are fine.
  • The assistant runs on your own model key; whatever it proposes to change waits for a person's approval.
  • No telemetry. We know who registered and what they bought, not how you use the product.

Run a demo store

A store node with PostgreSQL and Redis in Docker Compose, filled with an invented grocery. Everything binds to your machine; nothing calls us.

It installs from a release, with the compose files and scripts its signed manifest lists: see Download. Release 1.0 is being prepared. The register and the back office pair with the node from their first screen.

Questions before you start

Does the register work without the internet?

Yes. A store works without the chain's hub for as long as it takes, and a register works without the store's server until the end of the shift. Receipts wait in a queue and are sent once the server answers, each with a key that makes a repeat harmless.

Which card processors can I use?

The device gateway drives terminals of Stripe, Adyen, Clover, Worldpay and Fiserv. You sign with the processor and pay its rate; we take no share. The drivers are tested against emulators written from the processors' public documentation and are not yet certified with real devices.

How much does it cost?

Starter is free for one store with one register. Core is $49 a register a month billed yearly, or $59 billed monthly, with volume discounts from the sixth register; modules are priced on their own. See Pricing and the calculator.

Where is my data kept?

In your own PostgreSQL, on a PC in your store or in your cloud. We never receive it, and the apps send no telemetry.

What happens if my license expires?

The key is checked on your servers with no call to us. A grace period keeps the registers selling while you renew; air-gapped stores work the same way.

Which hardware does it support?

Barcode scanners, Mettler 8217 and NCI scales, ESC/POS and StarPRNT receipt printers, ZPL label printers, cash drawers and the card terminals above, through a device gateway on the store's PC.

Can I bring my catalog from another system?

Yes: import items, prices and barcodes from a CSV or Excel file or a Google Sheet, with the columns matched and every row checked before anything is written.

Is it only for the United States?

The apps speak ten languages and sell in the store's own currency. The US pack (sales tax by category, SNAP and EBT, the pseudoephedrine logbook) is the first country pack; other countries' fiscal rules come with their own packs.
